INSTRUCTION TO ER LAB TECHNICIANS
BIOCHEMISTRY LABORATORY
As we know that ER Department is meant for emergency services. Lab reports are supportive line, of diagnosis for proper treatment. So ER lab should render the services, non-stop as per our administrative procedure and protocol .If any technical problem arises to run the lab, should be followed the instructions as,
1) If instrument out of order, should call the biomedical department to rectify it immediately. Simultaneously, inform to the chief of the ER dept. and biochemistry lab unit head /supervisor.
2) Any shortage of reagents should notice prior to the complete exhaustion, to make alternate arrangement.
3) Maintain duty punctuality in time, should not leave the lab during the working hours.
NOTE: Any violation of above instructions, will be treated as serious and investigated for further necessary action.
